What octuedit does
octuedit is an AI video editor for Mac. You describe the edit in plain words and your own Claude Code or Codex builds it on a real timeline you can still adjust by hand. These pages show what that covers, with real clips made in octuedit, the exact requests to use, and the limits.

How does octuedit edit a video?
Every feature works the same way: import your footage, which octuedit transcribes and indexes on your Mac, then ask for what you want in the chat. Your own Claude Code or Codex makes the changes on a normal multi-track timeline, so you can review every cut, ask for adjustments in plain words or change anything by hand, and undo covers the agent's edits too. When it looks right, export MP4, ProRes, WebM or GIF in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1 or 4:5, in 1080p or 4K, or hand the project to Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Each page below shows a real clip made in octuedit, the exact requests to use, a table of what is supported, and the limits, so you know before you buy.
