Using octuedit

octuedit is provided by octupie. By downloading or using it you agree to these terms.

License

The Lifetime license is personal, paid once, and covers octuedit and its updates on Macs you own. You may use the videos you make for any purpose, commercial included. You may not resell, redistribute or reverse engineer the app.

Your own AI account

The built in chat needs a Claude Code subscription from Anthropic. That subscription is separate, billed by Anthropic, and covered by their terms. octuedit does not include AI credits.

Your content

You own your footage and your exports. You are responsible for having the rights to the material you edit, including music and clips you did not make.

Refunds

If octuedit is not for you, ask within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you.

No warranty

octuedit is provided as is. AI edits can be wrong, so check your work before you publish. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be posted here with a new date.
