CapCut isn't offered everywhere. It has been blocked in India since 2020, and what its app stores list varies by country. If you can't get it, three Mac options cover most of what people use it for. DaVinci Resolve is free and gives you full control if you're happy to edit by hand. iMovie is free from Apple and fine for simple cuts and trailers, though Apple doesn't list automatic captions. octuedit, which we make, cuts the video for you from a description, adds word by word captions and makes vertical versions, for $99 once. None of the three copies CapCut's templates or trending sounds.
